Tracy Breen

Director (2015 - present)

 

Tracy holds a Bachelor of Science from Suffolk University in Psychology and Education.  She has worked as an educator for over 30 years including positions at Arlington Children's Center, Arlington Heights Nursery School, Newtowne School and the FUSE preschool.  She lives in Arlington with her husband, son, who is also an educator, and two dogs.

Eileen Dauer

Assistant Teacher Afternoon Adventures  (2007 - present)

 

Eileen holds a Bachelor's degree in Political Science from Emmanuel College.  Eileen's words of encouragement and cheer are often heard in the classrooms and halls.  She is the first to celebrate a child's personal success.

Kim Edwards

Threes - MWF (2019 - present)

Kim holds a bachelor’s degree from Boston University and a master’s degree from Brooklyn College, both in Early Childhood Education. She lived and taught in NYC for six years. This is her first year back in the classroom since having children of her own: Wilson and Ellis, who also attend WCNS. Kim loves to tinker and create, and spends much of her time with husband Tim restoring their old house.

 

Laurel Grady

Lead Teacher Threes - TuThF

Assistant Teacher Afternoon Adventures (2012 - present)

 

Laurel has both bachelor's and master's degrees in Educational Administration from the University of Connecticut.  She teaches CPR/First Aid classes and serves as the allergy consultant at our School.  Both of Laurel's children are WCNS alumni.

Julie Houllahan

Assistant Teacher Fours - MTuWTh (2018 - present)

Julie has a Bachelor’s degree from the College of the Holy Cross in History and a Masters in Early Childhood Education (PreK-3rd grade) from Lesley University. She taught Kindergarten for 3 years at the Dexter Southfield School in Brookline prior to having her children.  Julie’s three children all attended WCNS. 

 

Lisa Kane

Assistant Teacher Afternoon Adventures  (2011 - present)

Lisa has a Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education from Regis College and is in her fifth year at WCNS.  Lisa brings the most unique table art activities to her classes that engage even the youngest of friends.  Lisa's son currently attends WCNS and she is an alum herself.

Kelli LaVita

Lead Teacher Afternoon Adventures (2013 - present)

 

Kelly has her Bachelor's degree in Early Education and Special Education from Rivier College.  Her talents include unbounded energy to inspire more dance and exercise for the children in her classes.  Kelli is also a Zumba instructor and owns both a children's birthday party and Freeze Frame Foto Booth busines.

Sarah Manganelli

Fours  (2019 - present)

Sarah holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Massachusetts Amherst in both Early Childhood Education and Dance. She also has a masters in Curriculum & Instruction from Lesley University.  Prior to staying home with her 3 boys Sarah taught kindergarten for over 8 years in Canton and Lincoln. Sarah’s older boys attended WCNS and are now at Ambrose Elementary, and her youngest son currently attends WCNS in the 4’s. 

Jetsy Reid

Assistant Teacher Afternoon Adventures (2006 - present)

Jetsy received her Bachelor's degree from Trinity College and earned a Masters of Arts in teaching from Manhattanville College.  She has taught toddlers, pre-school, kindergarten, first and third grade.  A master story teller, her love for children's literature is evident at every storytime session.   Jetsy's three children all attended WCNS.

Michelle Stewart

TTF Threes  (2018 - present)

 

Michelle received her Bachelors in Business and Communications from Ohio University.  She has served the Winchester community in various board roles as well as PTO president.  Michelle also worked on the WCNS board as well committee chair roles while her two of her children attended WCNS.   Miss Michelle's Running Club is a popular addition to her class where kids get to stretch, jump and run during the day!  

Mary Beth Zabowsky

(2015 - present)

 

Mary Beth has a Bachelor's degree from the University of Vermont in Elementary Education with a Masters in Early Childhood Education.  Previously Mary Beth taught Kindergarden for three years in Brookline Public Schools.  Her son attended WCNS for three years and is now attending Ambrose Elementary.
